“Otakar Jeremiáš was a Bohemian composer, the brother of Jaroslav Jeremiáš, from 1918 to 1928 was director of a music school in Budejovice. Beginning in 1945 he conducted the orchestra of Radio Prague and was conductor of the Prague National Opera.

He composed two operas (THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV, and EULENSPIEGEL 1922-27, 1937-47), two symphonies, a suite, an overture and a fantasy for orchestra, chamber music, theater and film music, choral works and songs.”
