“Born 21 August 1985 in Leningrad, Miroslav Kultyshev finished the Sankt Petersburg Conservatory under Alexander Sandler and is currently attending a postgraduate course there. Winner of the 13th International Tchaikovsky Music Competition, 2007 and awarded a distinction in the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw 2010 (above).

Kultyshev has participated in numerous music festivals in Russia and internationally - Germany, Elba, Croatia, Finland and Poland (The International Chopin Competition in Duszniki Zdrój). He has performed in the world's renowned concert halls - the Musikverein Grosser Saal (Vienna), the Mozarteum (Salzburg), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Lincoln Center (New York). Appearances as a soloist with symphony orchestras have been under the direction of Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Alexander Dmitriev and many other conductors.”
