“Henri Saint-Cricq sang at the Grand Opéra (1932-1936, début as Lohengrin) and at the Opéra-Comique. He was most successful in dramatic roles: Samson, Radames, Otello, Sigurd, don José, etc. Although this very refined baritone made guest appearances in the French provinces, he never appeared abroad. In 1955 he retired from the stage and worked since then as a vocal pedagogue.”
