[Morrisson] was a much-loved artist in Antwerp, much appreciated in Guillaume Tell, Faust and Les Huguenots, among many other roles in his extensive repertoire….He will always be remembered for his unique and compelling interpretations of Eléazar, a part he sang over twelve hundred times….In 1914 he signed a five-year contract with the Chicago Opera, but the onset of World War I forced an annulment which deprived American audiences of the opportunity of hearing him.
