W0022. JAMES CALDWELL (Oboe): Building Castles in the Sky, incl. Telemann, Handel, Aschaffenburg, Couperin, Ibert & Ravel (the latter’s Le Tombeau de Couperin). Boston BOS 1069. - 781881106929
"There is no finer, more stylish reading of LE TOMBEAU DE COUPERIN on records. Though this is sometimes referred to as a ‘minor’ oboe concerto, one can only sit back and luxuriate in the richness of the sound….I cannot recommend this release highly enough."
- Steven E. Ritter, AMERICAN RECORD GUIDE, Jan./Feb., 2007
