CRITIC REVIEW:
“Gustave Samazeuilh, born in Bordeaux on 2 June 1877, died in Paris on 4 August 1967, was a composer and French music critic. He was a student of Ernest Chausson, he entered the Schola Cantorum in 1900 and worked with Vincent d'Indy, Charles Bordes & Paul Dukas. He also was close to Enescu , Fauré, Ravel, Roussel and Richard Strauss. He was more famous as a critic, for - among others - the French Republic and La Revue Musicale. He wrote, in addition, more than one hundred piano reductions of works by his contemporaries.”
