"Zinetti made her début in 1913 at Teatro Massimo in Palermo and then toured South America with the opera company. She was engaged by Teatro Colo and by 1917 was in demand internationally. She ended her career in 1936.

She had an expressive, focused and agile voice with a beautiful timbre and excellent technique. Zinetti opened a singing school in Milan after leaving the stage and died there in 1973. Among her most famous pupils were the mezzo-sopranos Cloë Elmo, the tenor Eugene Conley and the baritone Scipio Colombo."
